Download Mihon

Download Mihon from the official source

Mihon is free and open-source, and the only places you should ever download it are the official ones:

• mihon.app/download — the official download page (recommended)
• github.com/mihonapp/mihon — the project's GitHub releases, for those who prefer it

The current stable version is 0.20.4. If you want a build without bundled proprietary components, the releases page also offers a FOSS variant.

How to install

1. On your Android phone, open the official download page in your browser.
2. Tap the download link to get the APK file.
3. When prompted, allow your browser to install unknown apps (Android requires this for apps outside the Play Store — this is normal for open-source apps).
4. Open the downloaded file and tap Install.
5. Open Mihon. On first launch you'll be asked to pick extensions — that's covered in our extensions guide.

Why you should avoid APK mirror sites

It can be tempting to grab Mihon from a random APK site when you want it fast. Don't. Mirrored APKs can be outdated (missing security fixes), modified (with who-knows-what added), or served from lookalike domains designed to trick you. The official page is one tap away — there is no reason to risk a third-party copy.
