About This Guide

About this guide

This site is a reader-written guide to Mihon, the free and open-source manga reader for Android. It exists for one reason: to help people find the real app, install it safely, and get the most out of it.

Manga readers get recommended a lot of apps, and not all of the advice out there is good. Some sites push repackaged APKs, outdated builds, or shady extension sources. We think the safest approach is boring: always link to the official Mihon download page, always recommend trusted extension repositories, and always explain why that matters.

Everything here is written in plain language for international readers — whether English is your first language or your third. If something is confusing or outdated, tell us through the contact page and we'll fix it.

We cover the basics on the home page: what Mihon is, the Tachiyomi story, and the features that matter. From there, the guides walk you through installing safely, adding extensions, organizing your library, and comparing Mihon with alternatives.

An independent guide for manga readers; not affiliated with the Mihon project.
